Best Ever Bonus Payments For KBBG Members

The Kitchen Bathroom Buying Group UK (KBBG) is an organisation set up to support the business of independent kitchen and bathroom specialists. Part of the renowned DER KREIS, one of Europe’s largest and most established kitchen and bathroom buying groups, the KBBG provides a range of exclusive tailored benefits and services to support and increase the success of independent retailers. One of the many, and valuable, benefits of membership is the annual supplier bonus payment, which is a reflection of the members’ trading success.

This year, the bonuses paid to KBBG members have been the best they have ever been. The bonuses were paid thanks to efforts made in 2019 and many members of the group received their highest payment to date.

Bill Miller, Managing Director, KBBG, comments: “We are absolutely delighted with how successful many of our members were with their bonuses, particularly this year when times have been tougher than ever due to the pandemic.” When the COVID-19 crisis hit the UK, in an attempt to support members in the most beneficial way possible, the KBBG paid qualifying members their 2019 bonus two months early, in order to give them a much-needed cash injection. Bill adds: “The bonus payments are traditionally paid in May or June, however in view of the extraordinary circumstances; we made an interim payment to qualifying members at the end of March.”

The KBBG supports the independent kitchen and bathroom specialist through thick and thin and there has never been a better time to be a member, with the challenging times ahead. Recent statistics show that 33 per cent of ABC1s agree that now is the right time to think about larger home improvements such as a new kitchen or bathroom1. Furthermore, 70 per cent of adults in the UK agreed they get better advice from small/independent retailers1 and 66 per cent expect small/independent retailers to have better experience, compared to larger chain stores. This demonstrates that the respect for the quality of service offered by independents is valued among UK consumers.

Bill concludes: “Times are tough but there are glimpses of positivity that we must all hold onto. For any independent kitchen and bathroom specialist that hasn’t considered joining a buying group before, now is the time to do so. The bonus payments provided many of our members with an injection of cash when they needed it the most this year. The bonus payments are just one of the many benefits that the KBBG has to offer and we aim to continue to help independent kitchen and bathroom specialists throughout the COVID-19 crisis and beyond.”
