Hotpoint Launches New ActiveCare Range of Washing Machines

Major appliance manufacturer Hotpoint has launched a new range of ActiveCare washing machines. ActiveCare is tough on stains and kind to clothes, taking care of laundry and removing more than 100 stains at just 20C1.

The ActiveCare washing machines are available in capacities of eight, nine and 10 kg, offering a model that is suitable for a variety of household sizes. The new ActiveCare washing machines are best-in-class for stain removal, thanks to a series of three different ActiveCare technologies.

The family of three technologies, Active Mousse, Active Drum and Active Load, work together to remove tough and stubborn stains. ActiveCare makes sure your clothes are well looked after, caring for both fabrics and colours, while ensuring the very best stain removal.

Active Mousse pre-mixes the water with the laundry detergent, before it enters the washing machine drum, which increases the machine’s cleaning power by up to 60 per cent at just 20C2. The pre-mixing of water with the detergent creates a mousse, which penetrates the laundry’s fabric quicker than traditional cleaning methods, massaging the laundry to cleanliness. Stains no longer require pre-treatment, saving you money on dedicated pre-treatment stain removers.

The Active Drum is driven by a motor that creates 10 different drum motions during a single wash cycle, each one specifically designed to treat a variety of different stains. Stains are removed in just one wash, ensuring further protection of all of your laundry.

Finally, Active Load takes care of the wash time and how much water the washing machine uses per cycle. This keeps water and electricity usage to a minimum, while making sure that the very best cleaning performance is achieved.

In addition to ActiveCare technology, the 10 kg washing machine (NM11 1045 WC AUK) also features two steam programmes, Steam Hygiene and Steam Refresh, which naturally reboot the hygiene and freshness of your laundry.

The ActiveCare range of washing machines features a fresh and contemporary design. The large easy access door, which makes it easier to load and unload, is trimmed with polished chrome for a premium feel. The washing machines also feature a new and enlarged display, which is ultra-clear and easy to read, and has a touch-button user interface, making operation smooth and straightforward.

Jennifer Taylor, Head of Brand, Hotpoint, says: “ActiveCare technology effortlessly takes care of more than 100 stains1, even at a wash temperature of just 20C1. This means you don’t have to spend time pre-treating your laundry with dedicated stain removers. The ActiveCare series of technologies all work together to remove tough and stubborn stains, while caring for the fabrics and colours of your clothes and all your laundry. ActiveCare is the best-in-class for stain removal, meaning you can wear your favourite clothes time and time again, keeping memories and forgetting stains.”
