InSinkErator® supplied a 3N1 steaming hot water tap to ‘George Clarke’s Old House, New Home’, which was broadcast on Channel 4 on Wednesday 30th October 2019, to 1.7 million viewers.
‘George Clarke’s Old House, New Home’ is a renovation programme that sees period properties across the country receive modern makeovers, the results of which display the perfect blend of old and new. The first episode, of the fifth series, takes viewers to Ackworth in West Yorkshire, where presenter and architect George Clarke transforms a historic Georgian property into a stunning contemporary home.
The renovation of the property, which had been split into two individual houses in the 1970s, takes viewers on an emotional and heart-felt journey as a childhood house is transformed into a home fit for modern life. The makeover included a complete overhaul of the kitchen, where a traditional, yet dated, kitchen built by the homeowner’s father, was replaced with a stylish and modern kitchen-diner with large sliding doors overlooking the garden, creating a light-filled and open plan space. Providing a stunning focal point in the kitchen, the Brushed Steel InSinkErator® 3N1 J Shape steaming hot water tap was installed into a large island, complete with blue shaker style cabinets and industrial brass touches.
Eliminating the time lost for the kettle to boil, saving valuable worktop space and streamlining the kitchen area, the 3N1 steaming hot water tap instantly dispenses filtered steaming water, alongside regular hot and cold water. Not only does the tap make hot drinks on demand, it refreshes dried fruit for cakes and puddings, makes stock instantly and is perfect for warming the scoop for adding your favourite ice cream to your pudding, perfect for speeding up processes in the kitchen.
Anne Kaarlela, Marketing Communications Manager, Europe and Russia InSinkErator®, says: “The 3N1 J Shape steaming hot water tap, part of the InSinkErator® Showroom Collection, is available exclusively from independent kitchen specialists, and we hope that the exposure of the tap on ‘George Clarke’s Old House, New Home’ will increase footfall for our valued retail partners.”
The InSinkErator® 3N1 steaming hot water tap is available in two shapes and a variety of on-trend finishes, including Brushed Gold and Rose Gold. Streamlining worktop spaces and creating a stylish focal point in the kitchen, the 3N1 tap safely dispenses filtered steaming hot water, alongside regular hot and cold options, encased within a stylish, one-piece, Italian designed fixture.
