Earlier this week, the jmm PR team visited the kbb 2020 exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham to support our clients, KBBG and InSinkErator, and see the latest products and trends in the world of kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms.
Upon arrival we headed to the InSinkErator stand where a press reception was being held for a preview of its new Modern 3010 and 3020 taps, as well as the announcement that its NeoChiller is now available. The stand was contemporary and bright with the feel of a modern apartment. With the InSinkErator educational videos playing on a large screen at the back of the stand and the team on hand to demonstrate the fully functional combination taps, the stand had a vibrant and exciting atmosphere. The prosecco and breakfast canapés were a great treat too, of course!
The KBBG, part of DER KREIS, had an equally as impressive stand. This year, KBBG partnered with Beckermann, who exhibited its premium range of kitchen furniture for the first time in the UK. The stand was KBBG’s largest to date in the UK, it featured two kitchen displays and plenty of space for visitors to sit down, grab a coffee and learn more about what the buying group has to offer. The overall feel of the stand was on-trend, friendly and inviting!
In between spending time with our clients, we enjoyed exploring the exhibition (and keeping an eye out for all things pink). We are always on the lookout for the latest trends and kbb was the perfect opportunity to seek out the latest innovations and get some interiors inspiration. Pink is often at the top of our agenda, as it’s a firm favourite in the office, so it was great to see bedroom furniture, storage solutions and a sparkly bath all in different shades of the colour! We also loved some of the lighting on display at the show. Lighting can be really effective in transforming a room into a cosy or vibrant space, and we noticed a lot of unique lighting solutions that really stood out.
Now that it’s all over we are thinking about what kbb 2022 will have to offer and how the trends will have evolved by then!
