Whirlpool Launches Brand New, Fully Responsive Website To Enhance User Experience

Whirlpool, the world’s leading manufacturer and marketer of major home appliances, has announced the launch of its brand new UK website. Now fully responsive and packed with new features, the redesigned site aims to better support both the consumer and retailer through clear, in-depth information on appliances to buy, and where to buy them.

Complete with straightforward navigation and pages designed to work on any size screen or device, every element of the Whirlpool website has been improved. The comprehensive ‘Appliances’ and ‘Accessories’ product pages have been completely redesigned, supporting both retailers and consumers alike to improve the overall buying experience.

Each product page is complete with full specifications, downloadable manuals, special features and independent Reevoo customer reviews; providing everything needed to make informed decisions, without having to change tab. Navigate easy-to-understand product variables such as energy ratings, noise levels and water consumption to establish which product works best for each individual consumer, and view rich content, including technology videos, for high-spec products.

A useful ‘Help Me Choose’ filtering system has been added to simplify the huge variety of appliances in the Whirlpool range. To complete the customer journey there is a new ‘Where to Buy’ tool available, which shows where customers can buy each product online and offline.
With the new ‘Innovation & Design’ section, Whirlpool’s latest technological innovations are outlined along with the practical benefits they bring to consumers. Free from techno-jargon, these concise information pages are designed to help customers and retailers alike understand the latest technology in the sector and learn what is to come in the future.
Jennifer Spragg, Brand and Digital Marketing Manager for Whirlpool, says: “We have carried out a lot of research to determine which areas of the website needed enhancement in order to provide the best possible experience for our users. We wanted to create useful content at everyone’s fingertips, and the new website is one of many steps we are taking to improve the broader consumer journey.”
