Whirlpool TV Appearances

Whirlpool appliances have been chosen for several major TV cookery series over the last twelve months, exposing the brand to a huge nationwide audience.

Following a highly successful TV placement campaign throughout 2013, Whirlpool will be maintaining the momentum this year with further exposure in major TV series. The brand has been chosen for several programme slots including recently concluded, My Kitchen Rules, hosted by award-winning Michelin starred Jason Atherton, and joined by chef and best-selling author Lorraine Pascale, who judged the new competitive cooking series. The programme featured kitchens decked with the Whirlpool Fusion built-in cooking range.

Whirlpool starred on the Great British Bake Off  2013, hosted by Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood, which enjoyed its most successful series ever. The final programme was viewed by nearly eight million people and Whirlpool’s Jet Chef combination microwave ovens proved a great asset to competitors.

Additionally, Whirlpool was selected to feature on Sunday Scoop, a very popular mid-Sunday morning entertainment programme hosted by Nadia Sawalha and Kaye Adams.  Sunday Scoop is a lively topical mix of the week’s news, with great food and debate thrown in, which immediately follows the Sunny Side Up entertainment programme hosted by Stephen Mulhern.

Juan Pillay, Trade Marketing Manager for Whirlpool, says: “The Whirlpool brand has enjoyed tremendous TV exposure over the past year on popular programmes that attract big audiences. We have been selected for further TV programmes to keep our great range of kitchen appliances in the spotlight.

“Programmes that offer a lively mix of entertainment and food are an ideal showcase for our contemporary Fusion range of appliances with their cutting edge technology, innovative functions and a fresh, ultra-modern look. Combining steel and glass for a sleek, high-tech finish, this great range encompasses built in and freestanding appliances including ovens, microwaves, warming drawers, hobs, hoods, cooling products and dishwashers.”
