Success For KBBG Annual Members' Meeting 2017

The fourth Kitchen Bathroom Buying Group (KBBG) Annual Members’ Meeting took place at the UBM UK corporate head office, Blackfriars London, on Monday 12th June.

Towering 19 floors above the River Thames, giving a stunning panoramic view of the City of London and the nearby St. Paul’s Cathedral, over 130 delegates participated in an expansive programme dedicated to the current climate of the kitchens and bathrooms industry.

The theme for this year’s event was balance, which was incorporated into KBBG Managing Director Bill Miller’s address who explained the importance of striking the right balance in any successful business. Miller’s presentation also included the announcement of additional suppliers and services, which are uniquely available to members.

The event was sponsored by AEG, who presented their new Mastery range of appliances, which is available to KBBG members. Delegates also participated in an interactive session, led by kbb Birmingham 2018 organiser, and event host, UBM, which gave KBBG members an insight into the current climate, changes and challenges of the exhibition. It also provided an invaluable opportunity for members to discuss their opinions on trade exhibitions.

Members of the KBBG also received an array of promotional offers from suppliers, which were only available exclusively to those who attended the event.

Following the morning’s presentations, members, guests and speakers were invited aboard Thames Luxury Charters’ PS Elizabethan vessel, a replica of a 1890s stern-wheeled Mississippi paddle steamer. The two-hour cruise offered an excellent opportunity for KBBG members and suppliers alike to network, and enjoy the majestic sites of Central London.

Bill Miller, Managing Director, KBBG commented: “The KBBG is dedicated to providing the very best for our members. Following the success of last year’s meeting, we wanted to make sure we more than matched the expectations of our members. We were thrilled by the strength in numbers of our fourth annual members’ meeting, and now look confidently to the future. We have an exciting and very positive year ahead, with new initiatives to be launched at kbb Birmingham 2018.”
