Specialist recruitment agency, and online training provider, Simon Acres Group Limited is launching a dedicated KBB podcast to showcase industry trends, discuss important issues and help shape the future of the sector. The series will have a monthly sponsor to support Simon Acres Group with bringing new and exciting content, regularly. The first sponsor, who is supporting the podcast throughout February, is Quooker.
Many of the podcasts will follow the format of Simon Acres Group’s ‘Movers & Shakers’ and ‘Industry Legends’ videos, which have already seen Simon interview some of the most influential figures in the KBB industry and beyond. The podcast series will take this to a new level by featuring even more interviews and reaching a bigger audience as the content is being made available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
To kick off the series, Simon is interviewing Richard Flower, founder of Ashford Kitchens & Interiors and Tom Pursglove, former Minister of State at the Department for Work and Pensions, in two separate podcasts, sponsored by Quooker. Both of the podcasts have a focus on the importance of apprenticeships in the KBB industry from two different perspectives.
Simon Acres, Managing Director, Simon Acres Group, says: “We’re very excited to enhance our ‘Movers & Shakers’ and ‘Industry Legends’ interviews with the launch of our new podcast series. As a training provider and recruitment agency, we’re constantly thinking about the future of the industry. Working together is important, which is why we want to bring insightful conversations and make them accessible to everyone within the industry. With our podcasts being available on Spotify and Apple, we hope that the convenience of being able to listen more freely, for example in the car or when installing a new kitchen, will foster a space where more collaborative ideas are shared.”
Stephen Johnson, Managing Director, Quooker, adds: “At Quooker, we’re proud to support Simon Acres Group as its first ever podcast sponsor. Industry conversations are key to driving innovation, addressing challenges, and steering a positive future for our sector. The group already has some fantastic interviewees lined up and we look forward to bringing valuable insights and discussions to the KBB community.”
