The Kitchen Bathroom Buying Group Signs up their First Bathroom Supplier

Since the launch of the Kitchen Bathroom Buying Group (KBBG) in 2014, the group has grown rapidly, and now has added their first bathroom supplier to their expanding portfolio.

Broadening out to provide a more extensive offering for the independent kitchen and bathroom specialist, the ever-growing list of KBBG suppliers has now been extended to include the range of attractive and innovative award-winning showers and tapware from Methven.

Product innovations, such as the company’s halo-shaped Aio showerhead featuring Aurajet technology, which delivers up to 20 per cent more total spray force, and twice the amount of skin contact1, yet uses as little water as nine litres per minute, will enable KBBG members to offer leading-edge bathroom technology to their customers.

With membership continually increasing, more independent kitchen and bathroom specialists are experiencing the benefits of KBBG’s buying conditions and, with Methven, the group now offers members the chance to take advantage of incentives on specially selected bathroom products too.

James Gibbard, National Account Manager, Methven, said: “The KBBG is really starting to build momentum, and we are very excited about the opportunity of becoming the first bathroom supplier in the group. The group is going from strength to strength, and is an integral part of the industry moving forward. At Methven, we offer high quality and innovatively designed products, backed up by exceptional after-sales support.  We look forward to helping new and existing KBBG members benefit from our premium and mid-range product offering.”

Bill Miller, Managing Director, KBBG, said: “We are delighted to be able to broaden our offering to members, and take on our first pure bathroom supplier. As the industry leader in shower technology, Methven offers aesthetically appealing, and truly innovative, bathroom products, and is the perfect choice for the independent specialist retailer, who is looking for something really different to offer consumers. We are looking forward to developing a closer relationship with Methven, and expanding our portfolio with more bathroom suppliers in the near future.”
