AM Labels Limited to Demonstrate New Labelling Technology at PPMA Show 2024

AM Labels will be demonstrating new additions to its portfolio on its stand at the 2024 PPMA Show, including the Epson ColorWorks C8000 industrial colour label printer and Afinia X350 digital roll-to-roll label press. The AM Labels stand will also feature automation equipment, as well as a linerless solution from Arca, for companies looking to reduce their label waste.

The PPMA Show, which is taking place at the NEC in Birmingham from 24th to 26th September, is the largest exhibition of its kind in the UK. The event will feature innovative processing and packaging machinery, alongside the newest developments in packaging design, materials and containers.

On stand A23, AM Labels will be showcasing the latest and most exciting technology that its portfolio has to offer. Visitors to AM Labels’ stand will have the opportunity to experience the new Epson ColorWorks C8000 industrial colour label printer. The C8000 boasts print speeds of up to 300 mm per second, at a resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi, and is compatible with a wide variety of materials, including matte and gloss paper, and synthetic label materials. The new ColorWorks printer is designed to meet high-volume label production needs of businesses in a range of industries. It is a flawless solution for product identification labelling in warehousing and logistics, thanks to its high-quality print output. What’s more, with the introduction of a one inch (25 mm) print width, even more businesses can benefit from the superior printing of an Epson ColorWorks digital label printer.

Working demonstrations will also be offered on the Afinia X350 digital roll-to-roll label press. The X350 boasts a roll width of 350 mm and utilises durable pigment inks that are cost-effective thanks to their two litre capacity. The cloud-based RIP software offers greater control over colour matching and means it is ideal for complex label designs. With a print speed of 18 inches per second, it advances productivity too.

Furthermore, AM Labels will be showcasing its selection of LabelPack applicators at PPMA 2024, including the programmable, fully automatic Label X JR applicator and the innovative Panda print and apply system. Visitors to the AM Labels stand can learn more about how its range of wipe-on applicators can support businesses in accelerating operations and increasing efficiency. AM Labels will also be exhibiting a linerless print and apply solution from Arca. The robust system produces zero waste with no silicone liner support to be disposed of. Designed to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and in the most demanding of work environments, the Arca print and apply system is the ideal cost-effective solution for businesses looking to reduce their label waste.
