CIH Appoints New Buyer

Combined Independents (Holdings) Ltd (CIH), the electrical buying group, part of Euronics, Europe’s largest electrical buying group, has announced the appointment of Norman Bruce to Buyer, Brown Goods.

Norman joins CIH with a wealth of high street retailing and buying experience with his career starting out with Tesco, Play.Com and extending to buying and category management positions at GAME, Carphone Warehouse, Currys and WHSmith to name a few.

Norman says of his new appointment: “I am thrilled with this new opportunity. My buying and retailing experience stands me in good stead at CIH and as always, the focus is understanding the customer whilst driving profitable growth. I’m looking forward to developing new categories, differentiation  and exclusivity . It is an extremely exciting role and I am looking forward to working with the members and suppliers
