Victory For CIH Members As They Take Home Six Retailer Awards

CIH members took home an incredible six retailer awards at the ERT Awards 2017.

The winners of the ERT Awards 2017 were announced at the Grand Connaught Rooms, London, on 25th September 2017. The ceremony celebrated 10 years of the ERT Awards and opened with a discussion panel of independent retailers; including CIH member, Ed Griffiths, Operations Manager, Purewell Electrical.

The ERT Awards, organised by the leading electrical retail trade magazine, honour both retailers and suppliers for their dedication and innovation in the electrical retail industry.

Winners of the retailer categories were selected by an expert panel of judges, from an array of sectors, who have an extensive knowledge of the industry. CIH members have been awarded for their achievements after demonstrating an insight into their business background, range of products on offer, staff training, approach to customer service, as well as showroom layout and design.

The winning CIH members were:

Digital Marketing of the Year – Marks Electrical, Leicester

Domestic Appliance Retailer of the Year – Coopers of Bath

Domestic Appliance Showroom of the Year – Booth Scotland, Inverurie

Independent Electrical Retailer of the Year – Marks Electrical, Leicester

Salesperson of the Year – Independents – David Baron, Managing Director, Hanson Electrical, Hull

Small Domestic Appliances Retailer of the Year – Dacombes of Wimborne

Stuart Cook, Chief Executive, Combined Independents (Holdings) Ltd says: “We are proud of the incredible success accomplished by all of our members, but this is a truly excellent result.
