Caring Homes celebrates excellence with awards ceremony

The Caring Homes Group, the UK’s largest independently owned care home group, paid tribute to the dedication of their staff at their recent awards ceremony, the ‘Celebrating Excellence Awards 2010’.

Held at the Radisson Hotel in Stanstead, Essex, the ceremony was hosted by the hilarious and outrageous act ‘ 4 Poofs and a Piano’, who are best known as the house band on BBC One’s incredibly popular ‘Friday Night with Jonathon Ross’. Over 250 members of staff from the Caring Homes Group attended the evening, which also included a delicious three-course meal. A raffle was held to support those affected by the earthquake in Haiti.

The company’s ‘Celebrating Excellence Awards’ was introduced to recognise excellent service, commitment and dedication of the company’s unsung heroes, across all spectrums of care. Nominations were received from all the Caring Homes Groups brands; Caring Homes, Consensus, Curate and Cheshire House.

Emma Charlton, Group Marketing Director, says: “Our staff work so hard throughout the year, and truly do deserve to be rewarded for their dedication.

The awards evening acknowledged and celebrated the role of each and every member, and their outstanding efforts and achievements.

“We had eight award categories ranging from ‘Outstanding Achievements’ to ‘Care Chef’ to ensure there was something for everyone to enter. It was a tremendous evening with wonderful entertainment, and we plan to continue holding these awards in the future.”
