AM Labels Limited (AM Labels) has increased its portfolio with the addition of the LabelPack COMPACT WA automatic bottle label applicator. The LabelPack COMPACT WA has been designed to apply labels directly onto jars, bottles and cans. The new system can apply labels to up to 100 cylindrical products a minute that, on average, have a product diameter of 80 mm and require a label length of 180 mm.

The LabelPack automatic bottle label applicator, which is now available from AM Labels, benefits from a 2000 mm long product transport conveyor belt, which can be supplied in two standard widths, either 100 mm or 200 mm. It also features a 140 mm wide labelling head and a 500 mm long wrap around belt. Wider wrap around belts are also available for applying labels to taller cylindrical items.

The COMPACT WA applicator is simple to use and comes complete with a PLC controller and 7.1 inch colour touch screen. Users can control the speed of the conveyor, labelling head and wrap around belt with ease. When the transflective (break the beam) product sensor detects the presence of a bottle on the conveyor it applies the label on the product at the correct time, while the adjustable side rails accommodate different sized bottles.

Additional options can also be ordered, including a conveyor belt encoder to synchronise the speed of all moving parts, product separators and thermal or inkjet coding units and different width labelling heads. A version is also available with twin labelling heads for two-sided labelling. Designed for both top and side labelling needs, the LabelPack COMPACT WA from AM Labels is ideal for use in a variety of industries, including for businesses operating in retail, food and beverage and health and beauty sectors.

• The complete unit sits on a base with adjustable, anti-vibration feet to ensure a steady application of the labels
• The applicator parameters are easily set using a PLC controller and 7.1 inch colour touch screen. Parameters can also be stored within the system for utilising again in the future
• When the transflective (break the beam) product sensor detects the presence of a bottle on the conveyor it applies the label on the product at the correct time, while the adjustable side rails accommodate different sized bottles
