These Three Rooms – Bedroom rugs to add extra comfort and style to your scheme
Purchasing a brand new rug or replacing an existing one is one of the easiest and most effective ways of transforming a room. Whether you prefer traditional interior design or a more modern approach, rugs are available in a huge variety of shapes, sizes, colours, materials and styles, meaning there’s bound to be something to suit every room in your home. This article from These Three Rooms provides the ultimate inspiration for anyone on the lookout for a new bedroom rug, filled with stunning ideas that are sure to leave you reaching for your purse!
While rugs offer a plethora of benefits in each and every room in the home, nowhere are they more important than in the bedroom. Providing comfort, particularly if you have wood or laminate flooring, as well as making a stylish statement that reflects your personality, we’re firm believers that rugs have the power to ‘make’ a room.
For anyone looking to make a statement in their bedroom, the hand-tufted Milano option from Jonathan Adler, the Kalin Berber style choice from Housecosy and the Anthea rug from Rug Artisan are all beautiful options that are perfect for providing a unique touch to any room. Bright colours and patterns not your thing? The taupe snug rug from Mint & May is understated and super cosy looking, while the hand-woven grey rug from AUDENZA is minimalistic with a small pop of colour offered by the mustard tassels.
We’ve even spotted a few options that look very similar to rugs we have in our own homes, with one member of the jmm PR team owning a similar style to the Berber style rug from Cielshop, and another member of the team having a rug that’s almost identical to the duck egg blue option from Carpetright!
If you’re looking to update your bedroom with a brand new rug, make sure you check out these stylish options from These Three Rooms.

YourHomeStyle – Pink bedroom ideas: timeless pink decor ideas for a comforting space
When we saw the headline ‘Pink bedroom ideas’ we knew this article was in the running for our Favourite Articles of the Week straight away. Upon scrolling through the pictures and reading the article in full, we certainly weren’t disappointed as YourHomeStyle provides everything we’d want in a pink bedroom and more.
Pink is such a versatile colour and with so many shades to choose from, it’s great for bedrooms. According to YourHomeStyle: “Rosy or pastel pinks are a well-known way to create a soothing vibe in your decor, while pinks from the more vibrant side of the spectrum – think fuchsia or watermelon – are great for brightening up a space, so it’s no surprise that pink has become a go-to colour for decorating everything from an understated master suite to a quirky guest bedrooms.”
We’re big fans of blush pink here at jmm PR, with one of us choosing this colour scheme for our own bedroom! The blush shade is perfect if pink is your go-to colour but you want to keep things more subtle and sophisticated in your interior design. On the other hand, if you want to be bold and really express your love for pink, you can use brighter colours, patterns and textures like the fabulous marble effect wall pictured above.
We love pink and grey teamed together and think this is one of the best colour combinations out there, so we were glad to see this covered in the article. YourHomeStyle includes insights from Judy Smith, a Colour Consultant with Crown, who says: “Pale pinks look great paired with charcoal greys, but a stronger tone of pink also looks great with a paler grey. Pink is such a versatile colour that you can even be bold and pair it with black paint or accessories.”
If you like the thought of a pink bedroom but aren’t sure you want to go all out, why not incorporate the colour into your bedroom with some pretty wall art? The article recommends tapestries and macramé hangings with pink woven into the detail or creating a gallery wall where each print has the same tone of pink running through it.
Whether pink is your all-time favourite colour, or you like the thought of introducing it into your home for the first time, be sure to read this article and feel inspired.
