Whirlpool’s MAX 35 microwave oven gains an online Which? Best Buy award. The freestanding microwave, with its original round-back minimises use of worktop space and includes a steam function too.

Which? commented: “The Best Buy MAX 35 works really fast and does an excellent job of reheating food so meals are moist and appetising. It cooked a great jacket potato and both the manual and automatic defrost functions worked brilliantly.

“There’s a handy memory function so you can recall your most-used settings at the touch of a button.”
Which? liked the large, clear labelling on the control panel, the door opens wide for ease of access and it is fast, has great cooking performance, excellent defrost and is easy to clean.

Whirlpool also gained the highest score for reliability of 99%.
