Allied Kingswood, one of the UK’s leading national distributors of furniture for the kitchen and the home, appliances, worktops, sinks and taps, is pleased to announce that Jonathan Blair has returned to the company in the new role of National Business Manager.

Jonathan will take up his new position early March 2010 and will be based at the Company’s Oldham distribution centre. He will be working alongside Regional General Manager, Martin Campbell, and have the specific role of maintaining and incrementing the current customer base, with particular emphasis on Allied Kingswood’s new range of products.

On a national level, his task is to ensure that Allied Kingswood’s two new European rigid furniture offerings, Evo Kuchen and Linea Kuchen, are rolled out to the UK market by supporting and training the other sales managers and functions.

Jonathan says: “I am delighted to be working for Allied Kingswood once again and I am keen to take on new challenges within this diverse industry. With its recent change in direction and series of new product launches, this is an exciting time for the company and I am looking forward to being a part of its dynamic future.”

Neil Parker, Sales Director, adds: “Jonathan has returned to us with an unprecedented and unique CV, having spent the last five years at Keller Kitchens developing European rigid furniture offering in the UK. During this time, he has been responsible for driving sales up year-on-year and has achieved an enviable customer base.

“This new role demonstrates Allied Kingswood’s determination to succeed in both the rigid kitchen market, and Jonathan’s knowledge and experience in continental kitchens is particularly important. I feel that Jonathan’s skills are imperative to the success of our new brands and I wish him every success in this new role.”
