House Beautiful – Modern Living Collections

House Beautiful has come up with four completed looks just in time for a spring refresh! Each look incorporates modern stylish pieces that are affordable. They all feature different styles and are based on interior designs from around the world.

All the looks are amazing, but our favourite here at jmm PR is definitely the ‘Soho Escape’. The bold blue colour scheme oozes a luxurious vibe, while the rich velvety upholstery on the expansive bed is matched with a dramatic blue blind for a moody yet comforting vibe.

From urban-industrial in the ‘New York Apartment’, to cosy and classic in the ‘French Country Retreat’, there really is something for everyone to try. With an array of different styles, textures and furniture, this article is super helpful for anyone looking for some inspiration and isn’t sure where to start!

Good Homes – 8 ideas to bring colour to the bathroom

White is often seen as the most traditional bathroom colour, and there’s a very good reason for this. As well as creating an airy atmosphere, a white colour scheme ensures that any limescale, grime or dirt is more visible, making it easier to keep the room clean. However, this doesn’t mean that you have to put up with a plain, clinical looking bathroom. In this article, Good Homes offers up eight updates that you can make to transform your bathroom into a colourful, yet stylish, space.

From coloured bath tubs and taps to patterned flooring and tiles (see here) this article details exactly how you can inject colour into your bathroom, while still ensuring the space is timeless and elegant. Whether you opt to add a bright vanity unit or radiator to create a stunning focal point, or decide to update plain tiles or flooring for vibrant and patterned alternatives, there are so many simple ways that you can add colourful touches to a bathroom. We particularly love the idea of swapping white taps for alternatives such as rose gold or black, giving the room a stylish industrial edge. With Metro Floor Coverings, one can be assured of a variety and very good flooring services.

So, if you’re looking to banish your boring bathroom and ensure that your morning shower is a more colourful experience, but aren’t sure where to start, this is the perfect article for you.
