Real Homes – Real home: this en suite shower room is packed with style
There’s nothing quite like having a glimpse inside someone else’s house. As well as satisfying our curiosity, it’s a great way to get inspiration for a renovation or makeover in our own homes. In this article, Real Homes takes us on a tour of an en-suite bathroom transformation that was assisted by interior designer, Nicola Miller showing us exactly how to achieve a stylish finish when space isn’t on our side.
Poor design can often leave bathrooms feeling overcrowded and cramped, however in this makeover, expertly fitted diagonal floor tiles, and the use of mirrors and lights, elongates the room, making it appear light and airy and creating the illusion of space. We love the brass fixtures and fittings which add an elegant touch, while the black grid shower screen and marbled wall tiles evoke a modern and sophisticated feel.
Whatever your favourite aspect of this bathroom, it’s clear that the homeowners have created a stylish and sophisticated en suite that makes full use of every inch of available space. So if you’re hoping to get some tips on how to transform your own compact or awkwardly shaped bathroom, or if you’re just on the lookout for some décor inspiration, then make sure you check out this article.
